Unit for Social Policy

The Social Unit deals with social issues such as barrier-free and part-time study and the financial aspects of student life. It is the point of contact for students with questions about social issues, such as the ÖH Social Fund, offers advice and organizes events and projects. The Social Unit manages the social fund and is in contact with the housing law, tax law and general legal advice departments. The Social Unit aims to improve the social situation of students at the University of Continuing Education by offering various ÖH-UWK services, such as covering childcare costs, covering the costs of psychological counseling, the ÖH-UWK snack, the ÖH-Mensa-Bonus and the ÖH-UWK medicine cabinet.
