As a member of a habilitation or appointment committee, you ensure that only people who are truly excellent at teaching become lecturers at the UWK.

As a member of a habilitation committee (according to § 25 para. 8 no. 1 in conjunction with § 103 UG 2002), it is your task to check whether the applicant has performed so outstandingly in the field of academic research and teaching that the applicant can be awarded the authorisation to teach (venia docendi). Student members of a habilitation or appointment committee receive a fee of €150 from the ÖH-UWK (divided over two months).
