What is the AKG?

The Equal Opportunities Working Group (AKG) of the University of Continuing Education Krems was established in February 2007 and, in accordance with its legal mandate, is responsible for counteracting discrimination by university bodies on the basis of gender, ethnicity, religion or belief, age or sexual orientation and for advising and supporting the members and bodies of the university in these matters.

In the concrete implementation of its mandate, the Equal Opportunities Working Group supports the recruitment process at the University of Continuing Education Krems, provides support in cases of suspected discrimination, advises in cases of harassment and cooperates with the Equal Opportunities, Gender and Diversity Unit in the implementation of the University of Continuing Education Krems' plan for the advancement of women and equal opportunities.

The members and deputy members of the Equal Opportunities Working Group are available to discuss any concerns. They are obliged to maintain confidentiality in the performance of their duties.
